The immigration, despite the fact that it still may appear unbelievable, is already a reality. The second ship from Beirut has left; the second caravan. And, instead of the word “immigration”, which really has an off-putting nuance (migration), the word repatriation is being heard. It is correct, of course, given its great historical meaning. But on a personal level it offends and even causes concern, since these western Armenian masses are actually not “repatriating” to their ancient native lands from which they were deported only thirty years ago.
