Prominent repatriates
Repatriation to Soviet Armenia after WWII had three important consequences. The population of the country, so decimated by the war, was augmented. Secondly, a new culture, a new way of thinking and skills were introduced. Finally, the repatriates invaluably contributed in the development of art, literature and the sciences in Armenia.
